Wondering if Aterm supports or plans on supporting unicode ISO-10646 display. If not, just making a request for that feature.

    yes, this would be great.
because of the missing unicode-support I have to use xterm ...

does anyone have a patch for adding utf8 support to aterm?

I don't know of anybody working on utf8 support. I've asked
sasha about this, and he said he'd think about it, but it
    wouldn't happen soon anyway.
    Patches are welcome.

rxvt-unicode is very similar to aterm (tinting, shading,
lean on resources etc.), but optionally supports xft fonts
and has very good unicode and multi-font support (it
    basically supports
any encoding that your locale specifies).
