My example path can fit to 4 A4 pages.
I want to understand how to produce document, since I need to put some information to margins, make specific page numbering etc, so it is not the only poster task, but rather generation. Negative coordinates also make sence.

I need to print drawing on several A4 pages in a scale 1:1 with some margin, say 15 mm for all pages.

Use a pdf postprocessor for this. For example, pdfposter or even Adobe Reader >= v10:
