Hello, I would like to suggest an option to choose the default App to open the file when we double click to file. Currently when we double click the file it opens the file as per application set up in Text Editor under menu 'Tools->Option'. So basically it would be an option to set "Open With Associated App" as default.
Thanks!

Added in version 4.3.2 (right click file and select Open with Associated App).
Is it possible to make this feature be configurable when you are setting up the text editor e.g. *.sql open with associated app
Or if there are no matching text editors for the file when you double click it then open with the associated app, currently it does nothing.
The use case I am trying to solve is I want to search and then just double click the results to have them open in the associated app instead of having to right click. This is much better than it was before the feature was implemented though, so thank you for that.
Reopen to consider user request to allow text editor entry to specify whether to open associated app or user defined app.
Changed in v4.4.4 (use a blank text editor location to use the default app). Also in v4.4.4, if you don't define a catch all editor ( * ) then the default app will be used.
