We also have some other log files that we want to rotate e.g. a web gui audit log. Same question on the best way to configure this. It would be nice if I could do it in /mnt/kd somehow. Michael, If the current version matches the Repo URL -> ver file then no upgrade is available. Thanks Lonnie that worked. So just to confirm, when you 'Check for new firmware' it just compares your current version with the ver file in the repository for the board type you are using and will use this firmware even if it's a downgrade? Hi Michael, If you have never upgraded the firmware image, then there is no "Previous" to revert to. 1) Upgrade the image (without rebooting afterwards) to 1.3.10 "13se" (or any different version) 2) Change your Prefs "Repository URL" to your desired Asterisk "13" repository 3) Upgrade the image again, but this time reboot afterwards. Keep in mind a lot of pjsip modules will be loading unless you "noload" them in asterisk/modules.conf . Hi Guys I have a system built on 1.3.7.1SE which I would like to move to 1.3.7.1 (non SE). I have previously done this by reverting to previous version, change repository URL to non SE and then upgrade but I cant do this. Is there another way to move to the non SE version. I could probably upgrade to 1.3.10SE to give me my wanted Asterisk version but Im not quite ready to do that yet. Regards Michael Knill |

Gonzalo, we appreciate the thought, but sadly we have no idea where the pa...@kr... payments go to, so feel free to reverse that payment if you can. We have tried to get the pa...@kr... signature removed from the Sourceforge mailinglist but it seems no one related to the current project has admin-enough permissions on the old Sourceforge site. There was discussion about some donation method to help cover our AWS server costs, but that never happened. Currently Darrick Hartman (or his company TechNosis, Inc.) is covering the hosting costs. Sorry for the confusion. Hi, Just in case it helps, there seems someone was able to compile last dahdi version v3.1.0 and make it work on a modern kernel with a few changes in code: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1090482-start-0.html Regards. ________________________________ Hi Gonzalo, I quickly tried, it patched, but there were compile issues ... Hi Michael, Thanks for your answer, I understand it and that analog lines are disappearing in most areas and specifically on professional environments (it's the same here in Europe) but expected still support for home / SOHO users and less developped areas; perhaps not new developments for old hardware but at least keeping support for them...one of the reasons I like Linux is that is a way of avoiding programmed obsolescence. We'll have to adapt again in the name of progress... Regards and keep your excellent work. ________________________________ Message: 4 Date: Fri, 28 Aug 2020 23:49:49 +0000 From: Michael Knill <mic...@ip...> To: AstLinux Users Mailing List <ast...@li...> Subject: Re: [Astlinux-users] Astlinux-users Digest, Vol 168, Issue 8 Message-ID: <9D3...@ip...> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Hi Gonzalo Unfortunately everything has a life and we are forced to change because it becomes too difficult to support moving forward. Hi Ionel, The good news is the 'wctdm24xxp' kernel driver still exists in DAHDI 3.1.0, but they removed support for the non-PCIe cards. I'm fairly confident this trivial patch should restore support for your TDM410P: https://github.com/astlinux-project/astlinux/commit/d93bbaa8b70b430ee269c2144714c1fe8d01059d I'm rebuilding the pre-releases now including this patch ... I'll let you know here when you can test to make sure the TDM410P still works for you.
