#21 SMS intergration

I would like to see SMS service intergrated with the
project. So you can send alerts for like voicemails to
a mobile phone. Further it would be nice to be able to
send sms messages through a web interface or something?...

how would we interface with the SMS service? Any idea's as
far as I know all SMS gatways are PAY only.

There could be an interface for internal use ( voip phone to
voipe phone?) or to use an commercial SMS gateway. In
Holland it is possible, as far as i know, to use landline
sms gateways for your outgoing messages. We have providers
who support that i think?.. I`ve tried to compile the smsq
package and it works.. i would like have it intergrate with
asterisk@home..

Why on earth would someone pay for a SMS gateway when
you can use the email-to-sms gateways for free?
