RA and DEC values in the ASTAP Fits header do not match the values I see in the PixInsight Fits header. Also when I solve the image the solved values do not match the ASTAP Fits header values.
are all indicating the original position of the telescope indication. These values are not touched by the solver. The ra, dec solution are stored in standard keyword CRVAL1, CRVAL2. For ASTAP they are always referencing to the center of the image. Nova.astrometry.net solution values does not. It selects a different reference pixel unless you force it in the options. What PI does I can not recall at this moment.
You can check any solution from ASTAP, Astrometry.net or PI by annotating the stars. See menu Tools, Star Annotation (ctrl+N). Note also that FITS from PI could have bug in the vertical orientation which the PI team does not want to fix. I reported it on their forum but they are not interested to fix it.
You could share the image involved. Upload it also to nova.astrometry.net and compare the resulting ra, dec values.
