Is there a way to increase the font size when displaying an image that also shows the magnitude in the Photometry tab? I'm running version 2024.07.04 64 bit on a WIN 10 PC..

    Thanks
    Nor

    Hi Nor,

No there is not at the moment. I assume the font is too small for your screen?
I have looked to it in the past to make them larger. The problem is that for larger fonts it quickly can become too crowded. Adjustable by user is probably the solution.

Font is now adjustable in version 2024.07.06
You have also to download an update of the variable database date 2024.07.06

    Cheers, Han

Hello Han, this is a great feature I was also waiting for. I am using ASTAP on my Raspberry Pi. Downloaded the lastest version and G05 database. But how to change the font settings? I am starting ASTAP from the command line. Is there any parameter I can set to get the proper font size? Many thanks!

The modification is only for the variable star database. I marked it in the attached screenshot of tab phometry:

For deepsky object the font is variable based on the object size.

For asteroids and comets is is adjustable in the "asteroids and comet annotation" menu.

Sadly but I found a major problem in ASTAP version 2024-07.06. (: (:

The popup menus are missing in tab lights and tab photometry!! Due to damaged code I replaced the listview by a new one but forget to fix the popup menus.

Download version ASTAP 2024.07.08 to get a good version.
