Hi Han,

here is another issue i ran over.

Since you introduced the drag'n'drop feature for dropping a directory to the lights tab i cheered up.
But there is an error message with some directories on my Mac. Attached the Error message.

The Apple File System has in some cases a directory file named ".DS_Store" (watch the dot BEFORE the file) which is normaly invisible in the Finder (Explorer) but will be automatically dragged too.

I think this causes the problem. ( My 5 cents )

I could not find these hidden files on my old Mac but noticed it can not handle any file starting with a dot. I have added an extra filter. Compiled and uploaded as the development version 2025.05.21a.
This is just the executable.

Can you open the ASTAP application (with right mouse click) and move&replace the above executable
to the application at /Contents/MacOS ?

I do not want to update the installer twice a day.
Tell me if this solves the problem.

Hi Han,

great to see you can guess the error.

the ".DS_Store" files appears only in the folder, when you change the folders viewing settings or you color or tag a file. (right-klick - color circle)... perhaps you can reproduce this in some way.

Unfortunately i cannot download the updated version - the link is not working.

Hi Han,

i tried again to download - my Chrome did not download the file, but my firefox did.

So i could check the 21a version and it works now! No more errors when dropping my mac files folders.
