I was a little reluctant to release the Mac version because the updated compiler produced first faulty Silicon/M processors versions where part of the menu was not working. I can not test that here locally since I have only have an Intel Mac.
I will compile one the next days. Do you have a Silicon/M processor based Mac where you could test it?
Cheers, Han

The Intel version is updated at Sourceforge . Tomorrow I will look to the silicon version. I have to compile the utility program unprocessed_raw for silicon.

Silicon version is also available. Could you check the viewer tools menud and if the conversion of raw DSLR images works on your Silicon/M processor Mac?

Hi Han,
Will there be any updated Mac April versions (Apple Silicon or Intel)? It looks like all the other OSs were updated besides the Mac versions.
Thanks!

I have both: an M3 and an Intel MacBook Pro.
You can specify what I have to test.

Hi Han,
I just downloaded the Apple Silicon version. I'll test stacking and viewing with data that I took last night.
Unfortunately, I don't have any DSLR data. If you can upload it somewhere for me to download, I can test.
cytan
Stacking worked fine.
What options in the tools menu do you want me to test?

Hi Cytan.
hanks for the feedback. Below a link to a raw Canon camera file (.CR2). After download does it load in the ASTAP silicon/M processor version?

I had to compile the raw conversion program Libraw to Silicon/M otherwise newer Mac's would not accept it.
Some tool menus where not accessible in the 2025.03.16 version. If it works for you, I assume it is okay. If you notice something else please tell me.
Cheers, Han
Attempting to load CR2 image gives error trying to load DCRAW on M3 Mac. Intel Mac is fine and loads image.

Yes DCRAW is missing in the Silicon version. Can you select Libraw and try again? See attached.
I will check the default setting.

On the M3 Mac I clicked on nearly everything else in the tools menu and they seem to work. I don't see anything that looks like an obvious problem.

Hi Han,
M3 astap loads the CR2 file fine after changing to the libRAW option.
