is it possible to change the filename-logic of the final stacked image?
I miss in the final stacked image the number of images used for each filter. This example shows an SHO composition.
From eg. IC 1318B, 2025-06-29,, iOptron CEM25CEM60, (H S O), ZWO ASI1600MM-Cool_stacked_v1.fits
to eg.
IC 1318B, 2025-06-29,, iOptron CEM25CEM60, (H S O), ZWO ASI1600MM-Cool_30xH_40xS_35xO_stacked_v1.fits
Another problem i have with stacking and saving files.
When stacking with multiple Sessions / Folders - the stacked channels are distributed to different folders (the logic i do not understand). For me it would be perfect if the different channels AND the final stacked image would be in the last (actual) or one special folder. I often have to search the channels in the different folder.
And a third wish is -
when stacking HaRGB, the Ha Channel should be extra saved (stacked) as a single file and not be rendered / mixed with the single eg. red channel. This helps me better editing in following software like Pixinsight.
Greetings and thank you in advance

There is no option to modify this. For the intemediate files the number of lights, flats, flat-darks and darks is recorded in in the file name but for the final stack all information is put in the header. Something like this:

This is too much to put in the file name. This info is in all files including darks and flats so it can be transported to the stacked lights

ASTAP has a different approach. It assumes all lights are in one folder. Why would you split them in different folders? The stack will be stored in the same folder as the lights. If the lights are in different folders then in I assume the stack comes in the same folder as the reference image and that is a little unpredictable.
Have a look to the results tab. There are all results and intermediate file logged

That is already the case. For each colour the intermediate stack is stored. You will see the intermediate files in the results tab. With the popup menu of the results tab you can copy them back to the lights tab to redo the final stacking step and play with the mixing of small band and broad-band files using the table in tab "stack method". The result tab is described here: http://www.hnsky.org/astap.htm#results
