ASTAP frequently freezing on remotely accessed ubuntu server

Hi,
I have been using ASTAP for years now due to it's feature rich capabilities. I love the program, but there is one issue that I have had repeatedly which really slows down my workflow.
ASTAP version 2025.10.23, Intel 64 bit is downloaded onto a computer running Ubuntu 24.04. I access the computer's UI remotely, rather than trying to transfer large FITS images to my PC. Unfortunately, I can only use ASTAP for a few minutes before it slows down and freezes, usually resulting in an Application Not Responding popup. I have attempted this at multiple different remote observatories with similar configurations and get the same results.
Has anyone had similar issues?

Hi Ben,
This problem is new to me. Can you try the latest version? If it still occurs, can you describe what your exactly doing, so I can try to get the same situation here and try to find the cause.
