Hi,

I have this new image from a Canon 300mm F4 lens and ASI2600MC camera. Astap fails to solve it. This is the first time I am using this lens. Before I have used the 10" F4 Newtonian and Astap always did a good solve on these images. Now it fails. I am no doing anything different. I save the image from PI and load into Astap. Visually it looks OK.

The image comes from PixInsight where the PI Gaia script did solve it with no problem. The solve was used in SPCC and then saved to xisf. The file header does actually show the RA and DEC , pixel size and proper FL. Why can't Astap solve it?
