I don't think there is a relationship between the quoted tilt and i.e. 'critical focus zone' . But for tilt to become visible, the tilt has to be outside the critical focus zone.
Hopes this helps, Han

Hello,
There was a post from 2021 about the percentage value assigned to tilt.
Now it is:
Off-axis:= HFDcenter - HFD outerring.
Tilt:=HFDworst - HFD best (for the four corners)
May I ask how this is computed today with triangle and octagon measurement points?
Also is there a relationship between the quoted tilt and i.e. 'critical focus zone'
(See: https://www.wilmslowastro.com/software/formulae.htm#CFZ)
I could think of a 100% limit once the tilt accross the sensor dimension exceed CFZ.
Thanks & Clear Skies,
Gert
Hello Gert,
For the triangle it is more or less the same. i have added it now to the documentation:
