It measures the angle of the unroundness. Not the unroundness itself. This routine is more or less forgotten. I will have a look into the code to clarify. Documentation should also be improved.
It is now fixed for the Windows and Linux version 2022.4.11.
I was a little puzzled by the initial values. Somehow some time ago I changed a value for a test but did not put it back. All values where 5 time larger.
Anyhow it is now fixed. The prefect aspect ratio is ideally 1.0. However I see that only for some bigger star shapes. For my images minimum is 1.1 but they are perfectly round. Maybe I should subtract 0.05 but that resulted in 0.99 values.
I removed the 10% message and replaced it by that values near the star indicate the aspect ratio.

Hello!
Why isn't roundness counted in the Analyse and organize images (lights) process and not taken into account when evaluating Quality?
I think it is very important.

Hi Han,
In the Image Inspection"->"Roundness routine, the number that I have from ASTAP is
10% of the aspect ratio measurements is worse or equal to than 5.9
what is considered good? Do we want 1.0?
