[ast-users] problem getting ast to work

hello,

when going to http://localhost/ast-0.2.3/ast I get the following:

Error occured generating this page:
system_settings: empty or invalid file.
Thrown from void libawf::system_settings::load(const std::string&,
libawf::filesystem&) at systemsettings.cc:73
In addition, there was an error running the error page:
Pre-Condition of function libawf::file libawf::filesystem::get_file(const
std::string&, const std::string&) const was violated, expression:
_lang.length() > 0.

does anyone know why ast doesn't work?
could it be a missing apache component?
