[Assp-user] LogRollDays

Running v1.3.9.1 I have my LogRollDays set to 7 but my maillog.txt file goes all the way back to Sep-4-08.
Anyone know if this is a bug?
Is there a way to force it to start a new file short of shutting down the service and renaming the file?
