My smtp server is setup to try for 24 hours.  After that it fails.  My
endusers demand a 1 day turn around.  They don't want to be sitting
around for 3 days waiting to find out an important email couldn't be
delivered.  I think that's a good enough reason don't you?  I'm sure I'm
not the only one with a 24 hour retry/fail time.
