If you found a model that doesn't load, you have several choices:
- launch a new thread here and upload the asset somewhere else, post a link
- add a new tracker item and attach the file
- send it to me, alexander NOSPAM DOT NOSPAM gessler AT NOSPAM gmx NOSPAM DOT net. That should be your prefered choice if you don't want to publish your model.
If possible, please post the original source/copyright of the model. It would be great to add it to the regression test set, but we can't do so if the license status is unclear.
We're working hard to fix all issues reported. Please be patient if it takes a while, there's still something like a real life :-)

It is very important to know 'who' wrote a model file: which 3d app? which export plugin?
Some exporters produce rubbish, others ignore specifications and use their own interpretation of a specific file format. Difficult to load them all properly, it requires ugly workarounds sometimes (however the library shouldn't crash of course!)
