In Blender a face can be designated double sided by checking an option in the properties.

The extra face is not stored in the .blend file so assimp doesn't find it.
Can it be added to assimp that it creates the extra face when this face property exists?

I opened https://github.com/assimp/assimp/issues/1281 for this feature request. Thanks a lot for creating it.
