Try this:

Add 2 macros in boost\config\user.hpp

#define BOOST_ERROR_CODE_HEADER_ONLY
#define BOOST_SYSTEM_DECL inline

thus Boost.System will become a header only library,

I have be using this method with boost svn for some time, no problem.
