[Artifactory-users] Custom Artifactory plugin to generate ivy metatada

Hello everyone,
  I'm exploring the option to generate missing ivy.xml files using a custom
Artifactory plugin. Can this be done for an Artifactory proxy repository? I
tried writing a "download" plugin using the  and  hooks but it seems they
are called only if the remote repository returns some resource. Am I doing
something wrong?
