Usage of c:\windows\temp for temp file causes backup failures ------------------------------------------------------------- Key: RTFACT-437 URL: http://www.jfrog.org/jira/browse/RTFACT-437 Project: Artifactory Issue Type: Bug Components: Backup Affects Versions: 1.2.5u1 Environment: windows/jdk1.5 Reporter: Martin Franklin Assignee: Yoav Landman Priority: Critical The backup process appears to dump the a large number of temp files into the c:\windows\temp. It does this for what appears to be an entire repository before it 'cleans' up after itself. Artifactory should either use the TEMP property, so that which directory used can be controlled, or create a temp directory under the backup directory. The c:\windows\temp can (and has) caused backup failures due to the c::\windows\temp directory filling up. Worse it cleans the directory after the failure so that no 'evidence' is left behind to locate cause. We had to 'watch' a backup in action to determine cause of backup failure. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://www.jfrog.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira |
