I'm the webmaster of Geolinux (http://www.geolinux.altervista.it), I try the lastest version of Archimedes cad and I see that when I do the zoom command with the mouse this is slow.

Could you detail a bit more exactly what steps you took to get a slow mouse movement?
Maybe you can record a screencast (use http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/ if you don't have a software to record screencasts) showing how to bug it?
If not please tell me which operating system are you using and what is the size of the drawing file that you are opening (if you are not creating a new one).
