No

Although the interface comes up and is registered in JACK connections, no MIDI is either received or output.
On startup there are 3 GTK critical errors referring to buttons and numerous GTK warnings thereafter. Examples to follow when next in UbuntuStudio
Looks to be a great app on specification, though ;-)

The GTK errors are annoying, but do not affect the functionality at all.

Thanks for the response, straypacket. It seems I must look elsewhere for the problem, then? It doesn't seem to matter how I connect Arpage (via Qtractor under JACK?) it doesn't 'arp' - does it have its own clock source at all or does it rely entirely on JACK transport? Some visual indication that it is receiving & transmitting MIDI would be a great help.

There is currently no clock source - it needs something else running.

Do you have the MIDI out connections going from arpage to a synth? If so, what synth? ZynAddSubFX is known to have problems w/ arpage.

    Many thanks for your response.

Yes, I am using ZynAddSubFX - I'll try something else. Is the Zyn variant 'Yoshimi' known to work?

This is a very interesting project you have devised - the permutations could get 'quite' complex ;-)
