The mouse pointer hotspot is apparently always at the top-left corner of the pointer image when the IntelGMA graphics driver is used. The correct hotspot is used with other graphics drivers such as VESA and X11.

Is this true for both abi v0 and v1? VESA uses the software cursor
(fakegfx) - though I believe you made X11 use a hardware cursor?
I think so (based on it occurring with Deadwood's backport last month of nearly all of v1 to v0), but I'll double check with a v1 nightly (hopefully later today). Yes, VESA and X11 should have different code paths for cursor handling these days.

I've confirmed that the bug is present in the 2016-01-17 pc-i386 ABIv1 nightly build.
