Make extra sure that for the next release, the rubber
gauge is actually useful. Syncing it was a start. Make
sure it does not "jump" around when connecting to an
old server and that it moves smoothly and correctly when
preparing a grind.

Same goes for the brake gauge.

Both rubber and brake meter now move smoothly when playing
on old servers and are accurate on new servers. The only
flaw is that at the beginning of play, the brake meter
jumps a bit around. The reason for that is imperfect timer
synchronization because the ping measurements at the
    beginning are unreliable.

This Tracker item was closed automatically by the system. It was
previously set to a Pending status, and the original submitter
did not respond within 14 days (the time period specified by
    the administrator of this Tracker).

The new timer sync code, although reliable to the millisecond,
broke the brake gauge again; this time, the fluctuations don't
go away after a while. It's not too bad, but a bit annoying.

    The all-new timer sync code improved the situation again;
    enough to call this fixed.
