Date: Thu, 19 Oct 2017 12:31:20 -0400
Subject: [PATCH] media: adv7180: don't clear V4L2_SUBDEV_FL_IS_I2C

The v4l2_i2c_subdev_init() sets V4L2_SUBDEV_FL_IS_I2C flag in the
subdev->flags. But this driver overwrites subdev->flags immediately after
calling v4l2_i2c_subdev_init(). So V4L2_SUBDEV_FL_IS_I2C is not set after
all.

This stops breaking subdev->flags and preserves V4L2_SUBDEV_FL_IS_I2C.

Side note: According to the comment in v4l2_device_unregister(), this is
problematic only if the device is platform bus device. Device tree or
ACPI based devices are not affected.

Subject: [PATCH] media: adv7180: fix field type to V4L2_FIELD_ALTERNATE
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

The ADV7180 and ADV7182 transmit whole fields, bottom field followed
by top (or vice-versa, depending on detected video standard). So
for chips that do not have support for explicitly setting the field
mode via I2P, set the field mode to V4L2_FIELD_ALTERNATE.

I2P converts fields into frames using an edge adaptive algorithm. The
frame rate is the same as the 'field rate': e.g. X fields per second
are now X frames per second.

Subject: [PATCH 539/540] MLK-19362: media: csi: Fix "Hresponse" and "Rx fifo
 overflow" camera errors

When the register setting for fifo_send_level is set to high, some residual
data of a frame which cannot fill up to the send_level, will be sent with
the next frame data. In this case, for CSI receive dma, sometimes,
the vertical blanking is too short to finish the storage of the previous
frame before the next frame start, depending on the system bandwidth.

Tested on imx8mq-evk rev B4 and B3, with OV5640 camera.

Corrupted image is observed on the capture when do the resolution switch.
This usually happens with base address switch error (BIT_ADDR_CH_ERR_INT).
skip the frame if the frame index does not correspond to the requested one
