[Arianne-announce] Stendhal 1.02 released

Hi,

Stendhal 1.02 has been released, it includes client features to make the game more playable on various platforms and interesting new special effects.

The client improvements make the game more playable on small netbooks, Macs, and without a mouse.

Special effects include zone colouring and lights to add atmosphere, creature transitions (where seemingly normal humans turn into vampires as they attack you), and clocks which really tell the time. For new players, the tutorial system got a much more attractive UI, with a telepathic NPC seeming to help.
