If it were to be used I could maybe see trees blocking the path to say Nalwor forest, seeing the difference in level between Ooril forest and Nalwor. Plus you could explain it as an attempt by the elves to keep humans out of their territory. (Well, I just thought of a special path or area where some players have to play together as a team.
