07Oct2015- New pdfs. Part1 covers hardware and building, Part 2 is very important and covers how to setup the myFocuser controller for use, and the Windows/ASCOM apps/drivers. The myFocuser MUST be setup correctly else you could easily damage your telescope focuser - the details of how to do this are in Part 2.

30122015 NEW ASCOM DRIVERS. These replicate the settings in the ASCOM profiler. This will be used from now on. User can edit the parameters more easily. FIRST - Write down all your settings for the driver, stepmode, temp offset, coil power etc. SECOND - uninstall the ASCOM driver. THIRD - Run the installer .exe program. FOURTH - Use the ASCOM TESTER APP and connect to the ASCOM driver and set all your settings on the Setup Dialog form for the driver. Then connect to the driver/
After this all the focuser settings are saved in the ASCOM profile and can be viewed/edited using the ASCOM Profiler.
TESTED WITH ASCOM62/WIN7x64/WIN10x64

2-Jan-2016 It was noted that some of the schematics used the obsolete Nano v23 chips rather than the more common v3 chips. This wouls only be an issue if you were connecting by pin rather than by signal wire. I have updated all the schematics to reflect the newer Nano v3 chips and removed the pin numbers were I could.

Just re-reviewed your site and there is only the Readme.txt file available for download. I've built a one of your excellent focusers using the STEPPER MOTOR 28BYJ-48 and would now like to build a NEMA17PG27 + L298N + temp sensor focuser. Unfortunately I cannot see the relevent files to download :(

20-04-2016.
Major updates. Arduino firmware 157, Windows App, Min App, ASCOM drivers and PDF Do not attempt to update one without the other. Because of a number of protocol and code changes, do not attempt to use the latest Window apps with older firmware, or vice versa.
I have actually rewritten all the temperature code. So that means getting rid of a few things like tempwait delay and update temp on lcd and so on. All gone. Temperature is now always shown on the LCD. This means that temp is automatically updated on the lcd display on each refresh as well meaning a lot of other code also got removed.
Barring the obvious, this is the last change planned for the immediate future. Please report any issues.
Robert
