archivemail 0.7.2 was released today. This is a quick update to v0.7.1, fixing a crash with IMAP and python versions << 2.5.

archivemail 0.7.1 was released today.

This is a maintenance release with numerous fixes. Most notably, archivemail should now work flawlessly with
python 2.5; this was long overdue. Again, there are quite important fixes in
the IMAP code. And like with 0.7.0, there's one new feature (the new --copy option).

Hey there! Paul has turned the project over to me for safe keeping and overall management. I have some ideas for product growth and figured I'd get my hands a little more dirty in the area of python.

I started working on a few recursive and non-delete features, and I hope to have something to release in about 30 days or so.

I want to thank Paul for his previous work, and I hope to carry on the tasks at hand. If you would like to help out, please let me know. The more the merrier! :)

This is a bugfix release to fix issues with archivemail running on python version 2.0 and python version 2.1

This version includes a few bugfixes including fixing a bug about lot of
maildir 'status' information when archiving. As well as support for not
archiving messages flagged important by default.

Includes support for not compressing archives and
not archiving unread mail.

Added a lot more documentation. The manpage is way better.

Includes a man page as well as performance boosts from using zlib instead of calling gzip directly.

This version includes improved support for running as
root on user mailboxes, and comes packaged with a
better installation process and a unit testing script.

This was a bugfix release as well added support for running
archivemail as root. Check out the CHANGELOG file for more
info.

archivemail v0.2.0 has just been released.
It supports reading from 'MH' format mailboxes, and is more
paranoid about not having write permission or having world-writeable permission, as well as other bugfixes.
