OK, it was a dumb thing to do, but I'm hoping you can help me undo it. I created a practice filesystem Archetypes product (starting with the =E2=80=9Cinstant message=E2=80=9D content type in the Archetypes Developer = Manual, http://plone.org/documentation/manual/archetypes-developer-manual) and created a few instances of the content types (e.g. a few instant messages).= =20 When I was done with the practice product, I uninstalled it and moved the product's files out of the Plone Products directory. Then I noticed that a few objects from these content types were still listed in my navigation portlet. So (I think this is the dumb part) I just went into the ZMI and deleted those objects. Result: The objects continue to be listed in my navigation portlet, though of course clicking on those links evokes a "404 Not Found" error. I further tried rebuilding the Archetypes UID Catalog in the ZMI, which caused the phantom objects to disappear from that - but they still show up in the nav portlet. How can I get rid of the vestiges of these ghostly objects? ~ TIA ~ Ken --=20 View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Exorcising-Archetypical= -Ghosts-tf3984118s6750.html#a11311525 Sent from the Archetypes mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
