I am running Ubuntu Desktop 6.06 and tried to install the .deb package. The package manager told me, "Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: python-dbus". I checked in the synaptic package manager and I have a package installed called "python2.4-dbus", but nothing called "python-dbus". I am somewhat new to working in unix, but wherever the packages are registered with the system, shouldn't it realize that python2.4-dbus is what it is looking for? Apparentally not I guess.
What do I need to do to get APTonCD to install and make sure that it still works the way it should? Thanks.

Hi Andrew,
Sorry, this is a common problem with the first beta package on Dapper.
Please, try installing this package:
http://cypherbios.org/aptoncd/aptoncd_0.1beta-1_all~dapper0.deb
Thank you.
