Please be respectful and curteous on this list.  I was only trying to help you 
by suggesting the best way to do it I knew of.  I did not design this part 
and the author died in a car crash last year.

I think you have some good ideas here but it is unnecessary to be rude, 
especially while Otavio & I are trying to fix the problems in v2 in our spare 
time.
