Compared to the previous version in Debian it is incredible the
difference.

The version in unstable doesn't seem to hang at 99% every time, doesn't
seem to overdownload for one package only to stall later and seems to be
a lot quicker than the previous version.  I had played with CVS a few
months ago and not got anything better.
