Global Consciousness Project uses hardware "random" number generators and finds patterns between that and major world events. This Java applet will run on their webpage and translate that data to music-like audio. Or for general audio synthesizing.

Features

  • Double-click the Jar file to run it in a Java window, or run it in an html file as an applet. Its the same program either way.
  • Jar file contains build.xml and its own source-code. Unzip it, change the source-code, and run Apache Ant to quickly create a modified version.
  • Synthesizes audio with a very small amount of code. Chooses the exact audio amplitude 44100 times per second for 44.1 khz audio.
