When ever I run option 2 repair permissions this happens.

/USR/SBIN/LOOKUPD then there is a number after this and then it says

exited adnormally: Hangup

This happens up to 3 times before it continues on with the process. It
never causes a problem but I would assume it should not be happening.

I run OS X 10.4.6 on a 1.42 Mac Mini using a 3 Meg cable connection.

It has been happening since around OS X 10.4.3.

AppleJack cannot block all the messages that are being sent from the system to the screen, so sometimes these messages appear through the AppleJack interface. The messages do look alarming sometimes, but as long as AppleJack can continue to do its tasks, they are usually nothing to worry about.
