Would like to do this as soon as I can. I don't have a copy of Leopard right now, nor can I afford one. I am saving up a bit, and should be able to buy a copy sometime in the next month. And then I'll do my best to find time to hack around in all the (undocumented) changes Apple has made.

support would be great, not only it would be great to work again with apple jack - 10.5 has so much problems, that a tool is needed to make this beta system to work a little bit...
Have you already get a copy of it?
By the way - thanks for your great work!

I have found Applejack so useful that, were I to have to pick only one computer maintenance utility, I would forgo DiskWarrior for Applejack. And that is saying a lot.
Thanks,
WhitIV

I don't mean to put any pressure on the developer of this fabulous utility, but could we get an update on the status of the update? Is Leopard compatibility likely? Are we looking at weeks, months, or years? Thank you.

Probably months, I'm sorry to say. Developer (me) is working 60+ hours a week and renovating bis apartment by hand. Because Apple refuses to provide any documentation on the dependencies of their utilities in single user mode, getting it to work is a matter of pure trial and error. Load launchd X, does diskutil work? No. Okay load launchd Y, then launch C, does diskutil work? No. Okay load launchd C then launchd Y, oh, hmm. now it kinda does, but hangs. etc etc etc. I have tried to talk to them but all I've heard back from them is "This is not a user supported scenario".
With about 20 lines of documentation, I could probably make all the necessary changes in 30 minutes flat.

At the risk of being completely unoriginal, I completely understand time restraints - the reason I fell in love with your program - I too will throw money at a 10.5 version.
I'm on the mailing list. Thank you, Kat

Thanks for letting us know you're still monitoring this thread, Kristofer. I seem to recall that your original AppleJack roll-out gradually added features - are there any you've managed to get working under Leopard so far? Can you offer any instructions for performing some of AJ's tasks manually from single-use mode, or booting from another volume? AJ has (had) BIG advantage over other utilities by being able to 'fix' problems which could cause booting to stall before reaching the Desktop... Also, if you don't need our money, would you like a hand with painting? Does your car (or pet) need washing? ;)

I'd like to echo the offer to make noise with Apple...is there a particular place we can rattle our sabers? What, specifically, should we ask for? If enough users complain, then it becomes a "user supported scenario".

I agree...I have donated in the past and I won't upgrade to Leopard without it. I have a powerbook from 2003 and Applejack is the most essential utility for me. I powerbook won't make it without it.

I am not adding anything new to what has already been said. I just want to add my voice to those that are requesting a Leopard upgrade to AJ. It really is a "top" priority. I have three Intel Macs, all running 10.5.2, and I really need AJ.

Misconceptions and volume tend to go hand in hand...
The Leopard upgrade has nothing to do with money. It has to do with time. If you guys could make my days twice as long, we'd be golden.
