#44 delete spotlight database

"I'm often use AppleJack. It would be nice, if I can
delete the spotlight-DB even when the Finder doesn't
start."

This is an interesting thought, though I haven't heard
of spotlight problems getting in the way of use of the
machine. The focus of AppleJack is not to be a general
maintenance tool, but rather a troubleshooting tool for
when things go wrong with your computer.

I would be interested in adding spotlight-db removal if
I can hear of documented cases where the spotlight
database interferes with startup or causes other
problems. Can you provide any such documentation?
