Found this also on 10.4 Tiger as on 10.5 Leopard and with AppleJack 1.4.x and 1.5. AppleJack is doing it´s job just fine on a RAID-system-volume (software RAID with Apple´s disc utility on a MacPro or PM G5), but when you come to the end and want to restart or shutdown the machine things go wrong and AppleJack or the scripts on this point can´t find a way out (you see than multiple failures, again and again) and you must press the power-button to come to an end. Tested this on many machines with internal software-RAID for the system-volume. Always the same.

    Hi

I'm on a MacPro (early 2008) with the system installed on a software RAID 0, and I don't see this problem.

    OSX 10.5.7

    Best,
    Esben

Hello. Is this still an issue for you, with the new version of AppleJack? (1.6) If it is, please let us know, otherwise this ticket will close in 14 days.
