#57 homepage doubleclick bug

At the moment, if you doubleclick the delete portlet
link (a few times), you get a horrible
nullpointerException. We are encouraging our school
users, who are not very technical, to customise their
homepages, and hitting this exception is a real turn
off for them, especially as they are the users most
likely to doubleclick a link in a browser.

This just adds a check to prevent trying to delete
the portlet if it has already gone.
