We are currently also looking at getting an estimate together for the work involved in switching to Hibernate. I know we were talking about moving to JCR, but during our investigation to fix the 8.3 PostgreSQL bug, hibernate cropped up in the discussion and I think is worth investigating. It would be good to have people opinion around Hibernate vs. JCR (i.e Jackrabbit) so we can see which one would benefit Aplaws the most going forward.
