I've setup a newsgroup for the APLAWS+ developer and announce mailing lists on Gmane.org. It makes it easier to follow the threads of emails.

    * The news groups are read-only, so please repond to the items on the particular forum or reply to the relevant mailing list.
    * The email addresses are encrypted to make address harvesting difficult.
    * At some point the Gmane guys will import the archvied postings.

    Aplaws-Announce:

Are you going to set up forum groups for some of the key issues which came up on the user day.
      Ie
      Training
      Intranets
      Organisational change
      Metadata
Can't think of the others of the top of my head.

      Etc
I've just posted a thread under general discussion on Training but not sure if people will find it.

      Cheers
      Sue

      Sue,

Thanks for the reminder. I've create a new forums call 'APLAWS+ in UK Local Authority' @ http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=401109.

Any postings to the forums get emailed to the user group mailing list. So people can subscribe to the mailing list @ http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/aplaws-gov-uk to keep track of the forum.

      Regards,
      Ainga

there was another one I've just remembered, those of us laggards on 5.2 wanted a forum to discuss issues relating to 5.2, ie bug fixing, undocumented features etc!!

Please could you set another one up for that too.

      Cheers
      Sue
