#1 Unable to create custom homepage when creating a subsite

I am unable to create a custom homepage when creating a
new subsite. These are following steps I tested with:

* Create a new subsite, and select the option to create
a custom homepage.
* Subsite created.
* Access the new subsite portal configurations at
http://\[subsite].[site]/ccm/portal/edit.jsp
* Add for example a 'Site Login' portlet and save it.
* Returning to the main homepage
http://\[site]/ccm/portal/ the new 'Site Login' portlet
is visible.
* These changes can be done the other way around too
(i.e. edit the main homepage and see the change on the
portal page).

Thus, I conclude that the portal pages for the subsite
is not custom.
