OpenCandy, the recommendation engine behind sponsored programs in the installer, has now been removed. You should no longer be offered any additional software when running the setup file. They were terrible at responding and it wasn't worth the compromise.... read more
It's been too long since our last version - nearly two years!
We're pleased to announce 1.6.1 has been released and is available for immediate download. In this new version, we've focused on updating libs such as OpenSSL 1.0.2h (lots of security fixes), Inno Setup, Boost and MSVC 2015 Update 2.

We are pleased to announce 1.5.6 to the public, fixing a security vulnerability related to the Magnet URI handler and merging to ADC 1.0.2 protocol. A few other additions include tidying up the plugin menu (it's now located in File > Plugins menu and actually works) and synchronising with DC++'s speed limiter code. Bring on the speed! ApexDC++ 1.3.6 changes the way in which segments are downloaded. The new randomised approach allows for new files to be distributed better across a group of ApexDC++ downloaders. Ultimately, this should provide a better speed.
Other improvements include a new Plugin API update - so make sure you grab the new plugins - and a minor feature addition.

After a few technical issues, 1.2.1 is now available for the public. We have been privately testing this maintenance release for a few months now in order to work out the high CPU issues that people encountered. The stable version of our 1.2 series has been released. It fixes issues that were reported in the 1.2 Beta release, and improves memory performance.
Looks like Santa came early - 1.2.0 Beta is now available for download. This new version is based on an unstable StrongDC++ version, therefore we're allowing everybody to help us test it before we release it as stable. There are performance and feature additions in this update, along with fixes.

The development team is pleased to announce the stable release of 1.0.1. This marks two years of development and a series of substantial achievements from the number of downloads to the amount of registered members on our forums. We wish to thank the entire community for supporting the project and actively helping us to reach this milestone.
The final/stable version has important stability improvements, which we recommend all previous beta testers and 0.4.0 users to utilise by upgrading.
To celebrate our second anniversary on 19th January, we are proudly announcing the immediate availability of 1.0.0 Beta 5. Our community members have been testing early versions of Beta 5 in our development area (now closed), and we appreciate all the feedback on those.
Beta 5 sports an improved resource management system, running lighter and more efficiently. IPGuard replaces PeerGuardian, allowing a user to manage their own blocklist (all connections are blocked including downloads/uploads). More details on the changes can be located here.
The Management team are proud to announce beta 3 after a month of development. Beta 3 has been merged to the stable StrongDC++ 2.04 release (providing 26 changes/fixes), so users on the previous betas should immediately upgrade.
ApexDC++'s official support hub had the honour of announcing the release to its users. A year in the making and we're finally able to show off what we hope will be a very stable 1.x product line.
ApexDC.net has been taken offline for maintenance due to a disagreement with the current host. We look forward to switching to SourceForge in the next few days and expanding our services.

We proudly present you with a vital maintenace update for our ApexDC++ product line. 0.2.2 brings huge stability improvements, fixes, a couple of new features and a merge to the very respectable StrongDC++ 2.02.
On the 19th August we released a maintenance update to our ApexDC++ client. This update was issued to fix a common crash that found its way into the 0.2.0 release. 0.2.1 also reduces the UDP spam via the super seeding feature.
