Seems quiet around here lately... I am looking at the new beta version out, and am wondering if there is a recommended path for upgrading to the latest? Are there release notes online somewhere? Also, is there a sense that this API is going to be fairly stable at this point and, most importantly, the triple names? In other words, should I wait for the official release to come out before upgrading so that I don't have to make major changes again? Does Aperture have any backward compatibility policies? I know it is early in O/S development (not even 1.0 yet), but this is something to think about establishing. Over in Lucene-land, it is something that has really helped our users (but is sometimes a pain for the devs, but usually not). Not saying you should adopt Lucene's, but you may find it useful if you do decide to establish one: http://wiki.apache.org/lucene-java/BackwardsCompatibility Thanks for the great library! Grant |
