In sandbox2, I tried to setup import from sandbox.

From the Import page, I added 'sandbox' as something to import.
Then it brought me to the filters page. I hit OK there to.

After I hit ok, the result page looked odd.

It said '- New slice' as the slice heading, and the
switch to slice area option box is empty.

The main area says: "There are no imported slices"

Note: if I setup a category first, this does not happen -- everything is successful.

Filters now work even when there are no import or export categories.

Problem with the odd page remains when there are really no imported slices and someone tries the
Filters page. We need more robust MsgPage function.
