I was just able to get it to compile once but I still belong in the xs 
beginner's area...  I've committed it as Dispatch.xs.  I've been wanting 
to hack xs for a while, and I guess this is a good point to start.

from his journal posts it sounds like he's been getting some good 
weather in vienna and is taking advantage of it.  I've been able to grok 
most of what he did, and I think that in a couple weeks this thing may 
be ready to release into the open.
