Aorta is a GUI tool for creating high quality DDS textures in Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.

The new version has polyphase mipmap filters with gamma correction, from the new open source nVidia texture tools, for higher image quality. It also has a checkbox for setting the filter wrap mode (repeat/clamp), and can now batch convert to PNG.

There is also an experimental Windows version available.

Aorta is a high quality tool for creating DDS textures in Mac OS X and Linux. The latest update fixes a nasty bug, improves compatibility with the Squish library, and features a much faster halo removal algorithm.
