Hello,
first of all, thanks for the great PolyMeshEditor, it's a beautiful tool to
work with and i discover new tricks every hour i'm working with it.
Now i want to suggest the addition of a function, which is called "Slide"
in the Wings3D-Edge-menue, and in my opinion a boost for speeding up the
workflow.
The function allows to slide an edge or a loop along the splines they're
sitting on.
The PME does it similar already, when i'm inserting a new loop, i'm able to
slide it along the splines its 2 vertices are connected to. But when i got
a loop in my mesh already, i'm not able to slide it anymore along the
splines, which is especially a problem, when you're trying to add smooth
details to an object and the direction is not one of the axis or a normal.
The only way to move the loop now is to do it freehand, which is not so
easy and ends, most of the time, in a different result than wanted.
It would be fascinating, to see this function in the PME and make the
handling of loops a bit more comfortable.
Have a nice day and thanks for any effort you've already and will put into
it in the future.
